Another stupid fucker on LBC this afternoon, a Lego nutter who enjoys bonding with his son over Lego called Bob Jones, appealed to Lego to stop collaborating with the Mail on Lego offers, as he felt their headlines were veering from being 'right wing' to being openly discriminatory, following their calling the Brexit judges "Enemies of the People", and - wait for it- highlighting only Polish lorry drivers on their phones and not any other nationalities (following the story of the Polish lorry driver that wiped out 4 people) . He considered these articles as hate crimes.
He said he treated himself today to the Lego Yellow Submarine....

All this virtue signalling is just the polish on the turd. Companies can get away with working their employees to the bone as long as they have a good diversity policy and sponsor a float at Pride. Lego can charge £20 for 10 plastic bricks as long as Twitter knows they won't advertise in the Mail. Gary Lineker can be a hero despite the fact he still hasn't progressed from adolescence and lives the life of everyone else who is phenomenally rich.
Society used to hold up as icons people who did the right thing, now we idolise those who say the acceptable thing.
